Das Audi Revolut F1® Team absolvierte einen erfolgreichen ersten Einsatztag beim Grand Prix von Barcelona-Catalunya, wobei beide Fahrzeuge in beiden Sessions des Tages in den Top Ten landeten.

Erste Grundlage für das Wochenende.

Audi Revolut F1® Team absolvierte einen strukturierten Auftakt in den Großen Preis von Barcelona-Catalunya, mit Top-Ten-Platzierungen in beiden Sessions des Tages. Die erste Trainingssession bot dabei auch Einblicke in die Nachwuchsarbeit des Teams. In FP1 übernahm Paul Aron den Rennwagen von Nico Hülkenberg im Rahmen der Rookie-Regelung und nutzte seine erste Ausfahrt in einem 2026er Rennwagen effizient. Der Este beendete die Session auf Platz sechs. Parallel dazu arbeitete Gabriel Bortoleto an der Abstimmung seines Audi R26 und legte mit Platz zwölf die Basis für den weiteren Verlauf des Wochenendes. Für FP2 kehrte Nico Hülkenberg ins Cockpit zurück, während das Team die Abstimmung weiter verfeinerte. Gabriel konnte sich in die Top Ten steigern und beendete die Session auf P8, während Nico mit zunehmender Streckenkenntnis die elftschnellste Zeit setzte. Der Freitag bildet damit eine klare Ausgangsbasis. Im Fokus steht nun die Auswertung der gesammelten Daten, um über Nacht weitere Performance freizusetzen und die Grundlage für den Einzug in Q3 im Qualifying zu legen.
