2026: The story so far.

As we reach the halfway point of the year, Audi Revolut F1® Team’s maiden season so far has been full of on-track highs and memorable off-track moments.

A lot can happen in seven months. Since the launch of Audi Revolut F1® Team’s first car, the R26, back in mid-January, seven months and eleven races have passed. In that time, we’ve seen on-track highs, off-track fan activations and made gains in the closely-fought Constructors’ Championship.

From the first turn of the wheel during the shakedown at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya to the team’s third consecutive points-scoring weekend at the most recent Grand Prix in Hungary, the story of the team’s first season in Formula 1 began with a trip Down Under.

Audi Revolut F1® Team 2026 the year so far

Debuting in Melbourne.

After months of preparations, Audi Revolut F1® Team made its debut at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. Strong Saturday pace saw the Audi R26 reach Q3 on its competitive debut at Albert Park, while Sunday saw the team become one of only a handful of constructors to pick up points on debut so far this century, thanks to a strong ninth place finish for Gabi.

Off track in Melbourne saw the launch of the team’s first-ever Fan Zone, hosted at the premium floating bar AFLOAT on the Yarra River. The event marked Audi’s arrival in Formula 1 in style, displaying the all-new Audi R26 alongside famous cars which have been central to the marque’s success in other motorsport series, alongside interactive fan experiences.

The team also celebrated Melbourne’s culinary scene by partnering with Axil Coffee Roasters and Nico’s Deli, where Nico and Gabi created their own uniquely-flavoured signature sandwiches.

Embracing Miami.

In Audi Revolut F1® Team’s first race weekend with Allan McNish as Racing Director, the Miami Grand Prix was memorable for its off-track atmosphere as much as the on-track action. The team partnered with iconic local bakeries and brought the racing vibes to the heart of Wynwood’s famous art district, with a fan experience welcoming fans into the world of Audi Revolut F1® Team. Capped off with live screenings of all the on-track action plus sunset DJ sessions, Wynwood’s MAPS Backlot was the place to be in the 305 over race weekend.

Wherever Audi Revolut F1® Team has raced so far this year, its fans have followed! One of the highlights of the year so far has been seeing caps and merchandise proudly worn trackside, or seeing the crowds cheering for Nico and Gabi as they’ve taken to the stage in the ever-popular Fan Forum appearances across the world. No doubt there’ll be plenty more on-stage GABICO moments to come in 2026!

Monaco Magic.

Audi Revolut F1® Team’s debut on the streets of Monte-Carlo was a weekend which will live long in the memory. The team ran a special one-off livery, emblazoned with the striking yellow which was synonymous with pre-war racing legend Tazio Nuvolari.

From honouring Auto Union’s rich racing history, to welcoming a new era – the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix had it all. This year’s Monaco race weekend featured the debut of Audi Revolut F1® Team’s striking new hospitality unit, which truly announced the team’s arrival. Big, bold and ready for business, the hospitality unit has followed the team on the road throughout the European leg of the season. Be sure to watch Nico and Gabi’s guided tour!

Eyeing the future.

2026 has been a promising season for the Audi Revolut F1® Team Driver Development Programme, with Emma Felbermayr and Freddie Slater each putting themselves in title contention in their respective championships. Emma’s second season in F1® Academy got off to a winning start, with her taking victory at Shanghai International Circuit over the Chinese Grand Prix weekend. An additional podium in the reverse grid race in Shanghai, a second place finish in the Montreal feature race, plus a win in the Silverstone reverse grid race paired with another third place finish in the feature race puts Emma second in the F1® Academy standings. It’s still all to play for in F1® Academy, with three race weekends remaining in Zandvoort, Austin and Las Vegas.

On track for the Formula 3 title.

In Formula 3, Freddie has recorded a podium finish at every race weekend to date, culminating in the young Brit’s first F3 victory over the Hungarian Grand Prix weekend. His strong results have put him atop the championship standings with only two race weekends – and five races – remaining.

Returning to the points in Great Britain.

Gabi returned to the points on the team’s first visit to historic Silverstone at the start of July. Recording Audi Revolut F1® Team’s first top eight finish, Gabi valiantly fought back after losing positions at the start to secure the team’s well-deserved first points since the season-opener.

The mini race.

Of course, the British Grand Prix wasn’t the only racing action of the day at Silverstone. Before the race, Nico and Gabi stepped foot in two fully drivable LEGO® minicars as part of the pre-race Drivers’ Parade. It was about as chaotic as you’d expect.

Consecutive points in Belgium.

The Belgian Grand Prix weekend was extra special for the team. Gabi recorded his third Q3 appearance of the season and brought home a second consecutive eighth place finish. It was made all the more memorable by the fact that he did so in front of the Audi Grandstand, where 300 colleagues from across Audi Revolut F1® Team’s factories joined together to watch the action opposite the team’s garage.

Building momentum in Hungary.

More points followed at the Hungarian Grand Prix – and this time, it was Nico who got his name onto the points-scoring board. A string of strong race performances had put Nico just outside of the top ten in six races throughout 2026 – but the breakthrough result arrived in Budapest, where he converted his second Q3 appearance of the year into a ninth place finish.

The race marked Audi Revolut F1® Team’s best combined result to date, with both cars finishing in the top eleven for the first time. Gabi’s drive left him less than a second away from another points-scoring afternoon, with what was his sixth consecutive top eleven finish.

The continued positive momentum sees Audi Revolut F1® Team head into the second half of the season off the back of three consecutive points finishes, having climbed to eighth in the Constructors’ Championship standings as a result of the Hungarian Grand Prix.

With 12 more Grands Prix and two Sprints yet to come in 2026, there’s plenty to look forward to as the second half of the season approaches. As F1® gets set for more intercontinental flights, Audi Revolut F1® Team is ready to tackle some of the most iconic and most loved circuits in Formula 1®. Racing resumes after the summer break with a final visit to Zandvoort, before the circus moves on to legendary Monza, plus other iconic venues: the original night race in Singapore, modern classic COTA and, of course, Gabi’s home race in São Paulo. We’re ready for more memorable moments as the hunt for more points and further gains in the Constructors’ Championship continues.
