2026 Season

In a world built around instant data, analogue film creates another way of seeing the Audi Revolut F1® Team season.
There is something about film that digital cannot quite touch. Across the first half of the season, the Audi Revolut F1® Team photographer moved through garages, grids and race weekends with an analogue camera — a tool that works at a different pace from almost everything around it. It is an unusual choice in Formula 1®. The sport measures time in thousandths, reads performance through data, and builds every surface around precision. An analogue camera offers none of that certainty. It gives no preview, no instant correction, no screen to check between moments. A roll is loaded by hand, carried through the weekend, and trusted until it is developed.
That delay changes the way a race weekend is seen. The camera cannot chase every second or confirm every frame. It asks for attention before the shutter, not after it. In the garage, on the grid, or in the spaces between sessions, the process becomes less about capturing everything and more about noticing what is worth holding.

The images in this gallery follow that rhythm. They sit alongside the process that created them: film loaded in busy working spaces, frames taken without immediate feedback, and contact sheets that only reveal themselves once the weekend has already moved on. Some photographs arrive as expected. Others carry small shifts in light, movement or grain that could not have been planned.
That uncertainty is part of the result. In a sport built around control, analogue film keeps a little distance from perfection. It shows texture, interruption and atmosphere. It holds the season not as a sequence of polished moments, but as fragments that feel closer because they were not instantly reviewed. This gallery brings those frames together for a slower look at a fast first half of the year. The races have already moved on. The film arrives later. What remains is another view of the Audi Revolut F1® Team season — delayed, imperfect and deliberate.
