Sunday: Night race at Marina Bay.
Race day in Singapore was the first night race for the Audi Revolut F1® Team, 62 laps of the 4.927km Marina Bay Street Circuit under floodlights. Nico Hulkenberg crossed the line in eighth and brought the team home in the points, after finishing seventh in Saturday’s Sprint. Gabriel Bortoleto’s race ended before the flag. The team takes a full Singapore weekend of data with it into the next round
Saturday: Sprint and Qualifying at Marina Bay.
Saturday in Singapore began with the first Sprint ever held at Marina Bay. Heavy rain before the start delayed the action by around half an hour, and all drivers took to the track on intermediate tyres. Nico Hulkenberg finished seventh and brought the Audi Revolut F1® Team home in the points. In Qualifying at 21:00 local time, both drivers progressed to Q2: Hulkenberg took P11 with a 1:32.784, Gabriel Bortoleto P15 with a 1:33.658.
