Race reshaped early on.
The race in Montreal unfolded differently from the outset. With a damp track, both drivers started on intermediate tyres before early pit stops defined the direction of the race. Nico Hulkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto were then required to work their way back through the field. Despite consistent pace, the gap to the points remained out of reach, with the team finishing P12 and P13. Beyond the result, the weekend provides a clear foundation.
Both cars completed the race without major issues, while progress in balance and drivability carried across sessions. With five races completed, focus now turns to the European leg of the season. The Monaco Grand Prix presents the next opportunity to convert pace into points.

"We took the gamble on intermediates, but the conditions changed quickly and it didn’t swing our way. From there, it was about managing the pace and staying sharp. Both cars made it to the flag and we banked valuable data. It’s frustrating because the potential for points was there - but we take the positives and shift our focus to Monaco."
